MTR-CUHK Youth QoL Champions Competition - Silver Award
Earlier this year, our F.4 girls participated in the “MTR-CUHK Youth QoL Champions Competition”, which is jointly organized by CUHK and MTR. The aim of the competition is to provide youth with an opportunity to serve the community and cultivate a sense of belonging to Hong Kong.

Five students submitted a project named "EXCEL" (Eco X Cultural Elite Leaders Programme). The girls' project aimed to recruit 50 young leaders from high schools and enrich them with knowledge about cultural heritage and places of ecological value in Hong Kong. The young leaders were further equipped with leadership skills through workshops. Finally, they took a group of primary school students and their parents to visit Yim Tin Tsai (Sai Kung) on the service day. Students from Wah Yan College (HK), Kings College and La Salle College were also invited to be young leaders.
The SSGC project was awarded the Silver Prize in the competition. Our success was reported by the SCMP Young Post as a cover story.
